Call for Applications: Hiring of Technical Staff for the “EpirusMedEye” Project

NGO Diagnosis is pleased to announce the opening of three (3) positions for technical staff within the framework of the cross-border project “EpirusMedEye: Enhancing Healthcare Access in the Municipality of Dropull through Greece–Albania Cooperation.” This initiative is implemented under the Interreg IPA CBC Greece–Albania Programme, aiming to improve healthcare accessibility and promote cross-border collaboration through innovative telemedicine and health communication solutions.

EpirusMedEye: Enhancing Healthcare Access in the Municipality of Dropull through Greece– Albania Cooperation is a cross-border initiative co-funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Greece– Albania Programme, implemented by NGO Diagnosis and its Greek partners. The project aims to improve healthcare accessibility and quality in remote areas by introducing telemedicine services, upgrading diagnostic capacities, and training medical professionals on both sides of the border. Through technology, community engagement, and joint medical actions, EpirusMedEye strengthens cooperation between healthcare institutions of Greece and Albania, promotes equal access to medical services, and contributes to the well-being and resilience of border communities.

Open Positions: Technical Health Staff (3 positions)

We are looking for motivated and qualified health professionals to join our team in the Municipality of Dropull for the implementation of field activities.
Main responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the setup, testing, and daily operation of telemedicine and diagnostic equipment;
  • Providing basic medical and laboratory support to local health units involved in the project;
  • Supporting medical consultations, screening sessions, and data recording;
  • Participating in training and awareness sessions organized within the project;
  • Contributing to communication and visibility actions (public events, info-days, outreach materials);
  • Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of project activities in line with Interreg standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or professional qualification in medicine, nursing, laboratory sciences, or healthcare assistance;
  • Relevant professional experience in clinical, laboratory, or public health environments;
  • Good knowledge of Albanian and English (knowledge of Greek is an advantage);
  • Familiarity with basic computer tools and interest in digital health technologies;
  • Motivation to work in a cross-border, multicultural environment;
  • Team spirit, communication skills, and commitment to community-oriented healthcare.
